Help me pick good components!

I'm upgrading my machine. Here is a list of what I am looking at. If anything looks off or I could upgrade for just a little bit more please help me out and let me know.

If you read this and approve please reply so I get some feedback to that as well :)

I would have to go with the
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66ghz 6550
which is FSB1333 and just came out for not much more money.

For motherboard, in order to take advanted of the FSB1333 you'll want a Intel P35 chipset, disadvantage being that it doesn't support SLI, but how many people do that anyways :) If you're into ASUS I'd check out Asus P5K Deluxe Wifi. I personally have had both my Asus boards in RMA 3 times now so I'm moving away from them because the quality appears to be suffering. You find some other good boards featuring the P35 chipset in this article on Tom's Hardware.

The RAM is okay, but your ram only needs to be 1/2 your bus speed, so 667mhz (DDR2-5300 or DDR2-5400) is all you really need. Anything more is just room for overclocking.

Video card is perfect.

Monitor is good, but you can usually find the Dell E228WFP on sale if you're looking to save some cash.
